Christians Hate America…

See video at Crooks and Liars…

There’s something about the annual Conservative Political Action Committee’s annual convention that just draws out the ugly eliminationists. Every year it’s someone — usually Ann Coulter — wishing aloud that someone would just blow away or lock up liberals and minorities en masse. This year it’s John Bolton:

He [Obama] said during the campaign that Iran was a tiny threat. Tiny depending on how many nuclear weapons they ultimately are able to deliver on target. Tiny compared to the Soviet Union, but is the loss of one American city — pick one at random: Chicago — is that a tiny threat?

As Think Progress notes:

The audience erupted in cheers and laughter at the idea of Obama’s home city being obliterated.

It’s nice to see they’ve expanded their targets. When right-wingers wish aloud for terrorists to obliterate an American city, it’s usually San Francisco.

Editor’s Note; As I’ve posted before, Christians hate the United States of America. They seek to turn it into the Christian Dominionist Kingdom.

Jeff Frederick, Twitter Idiot, Yells At Darwin

Comment from article

It is nowhere stated in Darwin’s work that “some people are more evolved than others.” But only the most generously charitable person could avoid saying so after experiencing the futility of attempting conversation with a member of the Reich Wing.

It is not true that “Atheists have used evolution to disprove the existence of God.” It is impossible to disprove a negative. If anything, the Darwin’s theory of evolution indicts a particular interpretation of scripture.

Since Frederick’s so-called “facts” are not facts, the proffered conclusion is invalidated.

It is not science and Christianity that are in opposition… nor is it Darwinian evolution and Christianity that are in opposition. It is science and anti-science which are in opposition… fundamentalist Christians on the anti-science side and everyone else on the other.

Between science and anti-science, which would you say is indispensable?

Youtube Bullies Agenda

We get a lot of our videos from

It’s easier that way and since time
is limited, we go with what’s easiest.

One thing that has discouraged me about
YouTube is how quickly good discussions

A very astute subscriber who has pointed out
and even sourced many of the videos we
include in our daily mailings let me in on
what to me was a big secret.

Believe it or not…

There are people who check YouTube every
day to find popular videos that discuss
topics that are unflattering and unhelpful
to various right wing agendas.

When they find one, they register a brand new
YouTube account and start using it to disrupt
the discussion by attacking the video, the
speakers on the video and other people
making comments. They also post false
information which they assert to me true.

Their goal is nothing less than to disrupt
free speech by shouting down the people
who’ve gathered to have an honest give and
take exchange.

We’ve posted some info today so that you can learn
more about this phenomenon and how to counter it
in an ethical, above board way.

Maybe YouTube will be inspired to create some functionality
to make it easier to identify people who are abusing
their system and making it a less useful tool.

Cynthia McKinney Addresses Critical Issues…

With John McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin I decided to vote for Barack Obama. Yet the issues addressed by Cynthia McKinney must find a way into our national and global discussion.
