Editorial: The Only Change that Matters

There is no political change. If there were the .0001% wouldn’t let us have political change. If there were spiritual change the .0001% wouldn’t let us have our superstitious religions. If sharing data gave us change the .0001% wouldn’t let us Internet, Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop, Desktop, wearable digital devices. The only change that works is personal revolution. If you want real change in the world you must change yourself. 

 

So far the only change we’ve seen be allowed is how the Spectacle is presented to us. We march against war then go down to the Spectacle approved fast food restaurant to eat. We drink the Spectacle approved sodas and power drinks. We have websites and continue to shop Spectacle approved stores and services.

 

When we change within the Spectacle suffers, withers and dies. Our actions effectiveness is easily measured. Has the war on working class ended? No. Has war on colored people ended? No. Have we got single payer health care? No. Has Glass-Steagall been re-enacted? No. Did the President of the United States join the labor movement in Wisconsin? Hell no! 

 

They gave us is change we can believe in. You must believe in this change because there sure ain’t any verifiable evidence of any change. We should demand more than blind faith. We should demand demonstrable change. Are the unemployed put to work rebuilding our infrastructure? No. Have we ended  the bail out of private Corporations [private banks ,private financial institutions] with public money? No!

 

Real change is manifest when WethePeople do things different. When we grow our own food. When we ourselves own the work that we do. When we come together to discuss, discover, explore and debate issues. As long as we sit in our easy chair demanding the rich create jobs for us or POTUS Barack Obama to bring us change then we will never have real change. Real change comes from within. You simply stop doing evil things, voting for the less of two evils, and begin to demand of ourselves a society of love, compassion, co-operation, empathy, equal social justice and natural reason based on verifiable common sense, logic and inquiry.
